In mid - 2007, a team of Logistics and IT begun a 6 month analysis project, to reviewed PearlsOnly process, shipping methods, business processes. The goal was to ensure that PearlsOnly continued to efficiently handle the significant increase of volume of orders. Upon conclusion of the analysis, a new set of standards emerged aiming to achieve scalability in order to accommodate PearlsOnly expansion goals.

EMX is one of the products of this effort. A PearlsOnly proprietary system that integrates seamlessly all order-related activities from website, inventory management to delivery.
